TAKE ACTION

Historic, systemic racism have both deprived our communities of fundamental social justice and left us working apart on matters that can be best addressed by working and standing together.

In recent years there has been a notable increase in violence against our API community, black on black violence, police violence, and all while many continue to struggle with social, economic, and institutionalized - normalized - forms of racism. We recognize that ongoing racism exacerbates the problem of safety and equity, and we choose to Stand Together and show how we all are unified in our fight as people; to show that we are all essential members of our shared community

Ask members of Congress to take a stand and fight racism, you can send a message to Congress through the United Nations Association:

CAMPAIGN FOR SOLIDARITY

The Campaign for Solidarity brings together our Asian American and Pacific Islander, Black, Latinx, American Indian, and multiracial communities to speak out against racist hate and violence. In the wake of escalating violence against Asian American and Pacific Islanders, the devastating impacts of COVID-19 on Latinx and American Indians, and the unceasing call for social justice for Black Lives, it is more important than ever that we rally together and make clear there is no place for hate in San Francisco.
