About Stand Together SF

Historic, systemic racism have both deprived our communities of fundamental social justice and left us working apart on matters that can be best addressed by working and standing together.

In recent years there has been an increase in violence against our API community. We recognize that ongoing racism exacerbates the problem of safety and equity, and we choose to Stand Together and show how we all are unified in our fight as people; to show that we are all essential members of our shared community.

2nd Annual Drumbeats Heartbeats Communities as One Celebration, held on the 13th of February 2024. We Stand Together in San Francisco.

Showcasing the stories of people from the Native American, Asian, Black, Latinx, and Middle East communities, "Racial Solidarity in San Francisco" dives into the root causes of racism in San Francisco as well as the ways we can achieve racial solidarity.

“Our challenge, as we enter the new millennium, is to deepen the commonalities and the bonds between these tens of millions, while at the same time continuing to address the issues within our local communities by two-sided struggles that not only say "No" to the existing power structure but also empower our constituencies to embrace the power within each of us to create the world anew.”
